Web3 headhunting

The talent infrastructure for Web3: Engineering, Compliance and Data

Senior hires from a network built by an operator, not a typical recruiter. You only pay if you hire.

Three pillars

The roles I fill

01

Engineering

Heads of engineering and engineering leads, plus senior backend, frontend and full-stack engineers. Smart contract and protocol developers, blockchain and core engineers, infra and DevOps, security engineers, quants and trading engineers.

02

Compliance

MLROs, CCOs, Heads of Compliance, Heads of Financial Crime, AML and KYC leads, Heads of Legal and Regulatory, plus experienced compliance managers and officers.

A unique network across exchanges, fintechs and DeFi protocols, built at Binance and since. One of the biggest compliance networks in web3.

03

Data

Heads of data and data leads, data engineers, analytics engineers, data scientists and senior data analysts.

My own field: I led data at Binance and Morpho and run the crypto data job board.

Who runs this

Not a traditional recruiter

I was Data & BI Lead at Binance and Morpho, where I managed teams and hired for these roles, and I've worked with teams like Orca. So every candidate is screened by someone who knows what the job actually involves, not by someone matching keywords.

I also run Unchain Data, where web3 people come to find work and learn:

That's where candidates come from, plus direct outreach. I'm in touch with them all the time.

Process

How it works

  1. 01

    Brief

30 minutes on the role, stack and budget.

  2. 02

    Sourcing

First candidates contacted within 48 hours.

  3. 03

    Screening

I interview them on skills, seniority and salary.

  4. 04

    Shortlist

Vetted profiles in 3 to 5 days. You pick who to meet.

  5. 05

    Hire

5% at signing, 5% after probation.

10%

10% of first-year base salary, split in two. Typical agency fees run 15 to 25%. Nothing if you don't hire.

If they leave during probation, the second half isn't due.

Hiring for a web3 role?

Send me the role. I'll reply with how I'd source it and when you'd see the first profiles.
